We call this the AT Exchange – AT stands for for assistive technology, i.e. things that make your life easier. It can include technology but also durable medical equipment. AT can be for recreation, for work, for home, or for daily living. This broad term includes things like wheelchairs, screen-reading software, hearing aids and other listening devices, smart pens, tablets, ramps, shower chairs, grab bars, pill dispensers – the list is endless! Everyone needs a little AT in their life to live it as independently as possible!
