I. 10:00 – 10:15am - Welcome / Introductions / Updates from Ability Tools

II. 10:30 – 11:45am - FES and Neuromodulation Rehabilitation by Alicia Griffith, MPT, Bioness Development Representative/ Clinical Specialist

FES – stands for Functional Electric Stimulation. The Bioness leg and hand rehabilitation systems assist individuals who have lost leg and hand function due to a stroke, MS, or other upper motor neuron disorders. Lisa will able to demonstrate the many rehab systems Bioness has available.

III. 11:45 – 1:00PM – Lunch (on your own)

IV. 1:15pm- 2:30pm-Wearable Portable Tech for the visually Impaired by Cory Hanosh, President, NorthState Assistive Technology
The presentation will cover the latest in ultra-portable and wearable technology for the visually impaired. Products will include the Revo2Go-WIN and the OrCam and NuEyes Glasses

V. 2:30pm- 3:00pm- AT Problem Solving Session: This time is an opportunity for individuals to voice their AT questions or concerns and start a conversation with others involved in the AT community.

We all need to make a disaster plan. For wheelchair users who perhaps won't have access to their chairs, ADAPTS comes to the rescue.  A Disabled Passenger Transfer Sling (ADAPTS) is a portable and affordable solution that allows family and neighbors to swiftly get disabled people to first responders in an emergency evacuation.  Learn the ADAPTS story as presented by the creator,  Robin Wearley.

IV. 1:00pm- 2:00pm- Wearable Portable Tech for the visually Impaired by Hudson Reynolds, Southern California Sales Distributor, NuEyes

Hudson Reynolds will be presenting NuEyes smart glasses, a new hands-free adaptive device for low vision.  Participants will be encouraged to ask questions and, more importantly, try out NuEyes for themselves.
