DLDCs provide short-term device loans to community members in need. Borrowers can try out devices prior to purchase, access a backup device while theirs is being repaired, or bridge the gap while waiting for a new device to arrive. All loans are available for up to 30 days unless otherwise arranged. Device lending programs can be a great solution for individuals with disabilities who are unsure whether a device is the right fit before committing to a purchase, who need temporary access during a repair or delivery wait, or who want hands-on experience with a device before pursuing funding.
