About Ability Tools

Communities of Practice (CoP)

Connect with assistive technology professionals, Independent Living Centers, community partners, reuse programs, and advocates across California through Ability Tools Communities of Practice. These collaboratives are designed to encourage resource sharing, peer support, statewide coordination, and ongoing learning related to assistive technology services and programs.

Whether you are new to assistive technology or a long-time partner in the field, our Communities of Practice offer opportunities to stay informed, exchange ideas, discuss challenges, and learn about emerging tools, programs, and best practices happening throughout California.
