For him, the glasses have become a constant companion throughout the day, whether he is at home, traveling, or out in the community.

He uses the glasses for a wide range of daily activities. During cooking, they help him identify items and follow steps safely. When navigating public transportation, he relies on the glasses for real time navigation feedback, making it easier to travel independently and confidently.

One of Alfredo’s greatest passions is health and wellness. Meta glasses support this by enabling hands free content creation. He records his videos entirely on his own, without needing anyone to assist with camera setup or framing. This independence is something he deeply values. The glasses give him the freedom to create, express himself, and share his wellness journey without relying on others.

If you would like to view Alfredo’s videos you can go to his Tik-Tok or Instagram:

@alfredo.lefort

This blog was written by AT Advocate Laura Solares at our Independent Living Center in Los Angeles, Disability Community Resource Center – DCRC.
