{"id":524,"date":"2014-08-18T09:00:09","date_gmt":"2014-08-18T17:00:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/abilitytools.org\/blog\/?p=524"},"modified":"2014-08-18T10:23:24","modified_gmt":"2014-08-18T18:23:24","slug":"using-twitter-as-assistive-technology","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/abilitytools.org\/blog\/using-twitter-as-assistive-technology\/","title":{"rendered":"Using Twitter as Assistive Technology"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The following short closed captioned video provides a great, simple and easy AT idea for executive function or episodic memory loss.<\/p>\n<p>The idea?\u00a0 Use Twitter &#8211; a free program\/app &#8211; to tweet to yourself about your daily activities.\u00a0 Then, you can search them easily if you don&#8217;t remember something that you did or what happened in previous days.\u00a0 You don&#8217;t have to make your tweets public, you can just store all of your tweets to yourself!<\/p>\n<p>The following video explains how to set up a Twitter account and do this &#8211; so even someone that is not familiar with social media channels should not feel intimidated by this idea.
