DCAD is one of the nation&#8217;s largest cross disability days of unity.\u00a0The Disability Action Coalition is\u00a0a coalition of over 40 disability rights organizations and allies, with logistical support from California Foundation for Independent Living Centers (CFILC).<\/p>\n<p>In response to the threats to the Affordable Care Act (ACA), this year\u2019s theme is, \u201cKeep California Healthy,\u201d and the focus is on health care programs and services that most directly affect persons with disabilities.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/abilitytools.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/IMG_9726.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-2416\" src=\"https:\/\/abilitytools.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/IMG_9726-300x274.jpg\" alt=\"two women, and a man pose in front of the ADA 25 backdrop \" width=\"229\" height=\"208\" srcset=\"https:\/\/abilitytools.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/IMG_9726-300x274.jpg 300w, https:\/\/abilitytools.org\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/IMG_9726-1024x935.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 229px) 100vw, 229px\" \/><\/a>\u201cDisability access means access for everyone,\u201d said CFILC Executive Director Teresa Favuzzi. \u201cThis is the one day of the year when people with disabilities from all over the state with all types of disabilities come together and have our voices heard.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This year thousands of people will come together in unity for DCAD. Activities will begin at Cesar E.
