Before Setting Up Multiple Routines
Before diving into creating multiple routines in the Alexa App, it’s important to make sure your smart devices are set up and ready to interact. This example shows how a door sensor and smart bulb can work together using two separate Alexa Routines to create a simple visual cue for door activity. When the door opens, the light turns green and when the door closes it will turn white. Make sure your smart bulb is already connected and renamed, and consider how you might layer in other elements (like reminders or sounds) to build daily support that fits your needs.
