We have a full calendar of trainings and events with Ability Tools for 2017 and beyond! We make it our goal to reach out to the community for local events and trainings. If you have a suggestion for an event or training to add on our calendar, please contact us.

Apple Accessibility Event Saturday, May 13th, 2017 • 8:00AM - 10:00AM (PST)

Apple Irvine Spectrum Center will be hosting a special accessibility event. The event will address accessibility features on the iPhone and iPad that may be beneficial for individuals with cognitive challenges. BEST is excited to be involved.
The event is for those living with cognitive challenges (as well as professionals and caregivers) who would like to learn more about specific accessibility features that can benefit these groups.
A final agenda along with RSVP information will be available in early May. Please keep your eyes out for the formal invite. In the meantime, be sure to save the date -- May 13, 2017 -- in your calendar!

Disability Capitol Action Day (DCAD) is one of the nation's largest and most diverse yearly day of cross disability and unity. Thousands of people with disabilities and their allies came together to celebrate coalition at the State Capitol. People come together in unity for our day at the Capitol. Participants will have the chance to honor the champions of the disability rights movement and motivate our future leaders with disabilities.
