In communities across North America, makerspaces are available as a community place for people to use shop tools. This month's presenter is building a network, Makers Making Change, to connect makerspaces to disability professionals to make customized assistive technologies for people with disabilities, using tools such as lasercutters, 3D printers, and soldering stations. Learn about existing and emerging solutions, such as writing aids, key guards, switch inputs and mounts, and other alternative input solutions, and how you can get involved to have makers and hackers create affordable, customized access solutions for people you serve on a daily basis.
